Belly sleeping doesn't hurt your baby. It's whatever is most comfortable for you, especially since sleep can be fleeting as you progress. I just had my 3rd baby and slept on my front, slightly on my right side, with my left leg propped out a little, with all 3. If I slept on my back, my back would hurt like crazy (also could cause circulation issues in the later stages), if I slept on my side, my hips would be very stiff when I woke up. So, if you're comfortable, go for it as long as you want.

I'm a stomach sleeper too.... I'd say when its not comfy then stop... I was about 5 months and still on my tummy. After was worse my incision kept me off it for 7 weeks

I have 2 healthy teenage daughters, I got huge with both pregnancies. I had been told I couldn't sleep on my belly when pregnant so I asked my doctors about it and they said that it was a comfort issue NOT in issue about the baby. I slept on my stomach throughout both of my pregnancies. It is the ONLY way I have ever slept comfortably and being pregnant didn't change that for me. It truly is about what is comfortable for you. Good luck and congratulations

Until you are too unconfortable to want to~you can't hurt or squish the baby, it's well protected :)

You will know because it will hurt to sleep on your belly. I was about 3 months along when it became uncomfortable but I'm sure it vaires from person to person. Do what's comfortable and enjoy :)

You can sleep on your stomach until it's uncomfortable which was around 17 weeks for me.

I was told to stop when you get uncomfotable, which will happen the bigger your belly gets. I was uncomfortable so I bought a full-length pregnancy body pillow. I loved that thing!

I have to agree with most everyone else. When it is not comfortable any more you will stop. I slep on my belly most of my pregnancy but when it was to uncomfortable a body pillow worked wonders!!

I slept on my stomach until I got uncomfortable but it wouldn't hurt for you to start now. I was always a stomach sleeper until I got really big. It probably wasn't a great idea but I had no problems. It can be hard to fall asleep if you aren't in your usual position though. I slept on my side with my leg up against the mattress kind of like I was marching or putting it around a pillow and it felt more like I was on my stomach. Hope this helps!

For both of my pregnancies as soon as I found out I started to sleep on my side. I figured if I got use to it sooner then I would sleep better when I started to show. What I did was put a pillow between my legs and one by my belly on the side I was sleeping on. Within a week or 2 I got use to it and was able to sleep comfortably. Mind you by the end of both pregnanies I couldn't wait to be able to sleep on my belly again. Good Luck and Congrats!!!!!

I think you will know. With my first, I stopped rolling onto my tummy in the night at I think like 12 weeks and with my second, not until I was about 17 weeks. Your body tells you what to do.

I would attempt to stop sleeping on your belly the sooner the better so that when it isn't a big change when you're larger. Invest in a body pillow would be my advice, possibly two. I slept between two of them and it kept me on my side.
