Hi All, I really need your immediate help and ideas,my daughter 2 years and 6 months simply living on cows milk i.e 3-4 ounce of milk 3 times a day, we really worried about her growth, we trying different ways to increase her appetite e.g. outside dinning, while watching TV or games, outdoor games.. nothing is helping us.
we have reach to a stage that we want to give her food forcefully but she simply throws it.
your immediate support and ideas are really appreciated.
Regards

I just did the conversion and 28 pounds is not really an unusual weight for a 2 year old. Granted, if she has stopped gaining any weight or is losing weight that is concerning, but that actual weight number... is relatively normal.

A lot of little kids won't ask for food if they are busy playing. Do you have 3 regular sit down meal times and 2 (or more) scheduled snack times for her? If she is literally not eating at all you can replace some of the cow's milk w/ a toddler formula. I likely wouldn't do that too often since the goal is to get her eating, but maybe 3-4 ounces once a day would be good.. so you can ensure that she is at least getting some other vitamins and minerals.

If she has special needs I would assume she is seeing a specialist....? Has she been to a nutritionist? They would be better equipped to advise you on this situation.

Hi Dove, thanks for ur immediate response, we have been to doc many times they are advising us try to increase her food intake soonest the possible.
my daughter so active that she keeps on playing, she keeps on watching TV and keeps on talking, but during whole this time she wont ask for food or milk, if she is awake and we give her milk she drink very little but if she is sleep she will drink more.
One peadritic/DOC yesterday told me that if she don't eat food this will result in iron deficiency which in return impact her brain development.
additionally she is very special from day one, she simply rejected or drink very less formula milk and now she is only on fresh cows milk.
her weight is just 13KG.

If she is literally eating nothing and/or she is losing weight.. you need to take her to a doctor. If she just seems like she is eating nothing because she is eating very little, but she's active and growing (even just a little bit)... it is likely that she is fine.

I once knew a toddler that was so picky she would literally lick the syrup off a waffle and be done w/ breakfast. She is still a picky eater, but she is also a very healthy, thriving teenager now.

Do NOT force feed her... that is highly likely to make any issues a lot worse.
