I'm 16 years old and had the implant in for a year and I had a heavy period for the first week and then my periods stopped and haven't had one since, for the last week I've been sore and uncomftable every time me and my partner have intercourse. For the last 2 days I've been spotting blood and having bad cramps, (worse than period pain) but today the cramps have got worse and I'm bleeding worse. What is going on

Tuesday? That is four days from now...too long to wait in this mother/nurse's opinion. Call your doc back and get in right away

You're 16. You are having problems, you need to go to the doctor.
We aren't doctors, we don't have access to tests and hormonal birth control affects everyone differently. What is "normal" for 1 person isn't "normal" for the next. There are lists of side effects with hormonal BC as well.
How many times you need us to tell you?

ETA: You said your Mother isn't around yet she's the one that suggested you go on BC at 15.

We have no idea what is going on with your body. You need to go to the doctor.
I would also suggest, stop having sex for a while. Why are you on the implant at your age anyway? There is NO WAY I would be putting a 15yo onto that.

No, it is not stored up tissue and fluid, whatever is coming is current blood and tissue loss; call your doc

It's heavier than a period, sorry to be gruesome but the blood isn't red like a period it's a dark black/red. But I'm thinking because I haven't had a period for a year is it just old blood that's been stored up for so long that now it's heavier

You need to see a doctor. Period. Heavy bleeding could be a miscarriage... you could bleed to death. It 'could' be birth control related and waiting or removing the implant could solve the problem... or it could be something very serious and even fatal. If you are mature enough to get birth control and have sex... you'd better be mature enough to go and see a doctor when there is a problem (even if it turns out to be nothing) or you could end up dead.

Blunt enough for you or do you want to come up w/ another excuse... ?

If you are scared to see a doctor when you are having problems then you need to grow up, get off such an invasive BC and stop having sex.
I had the implant and bled for 6 months. There is NO normal with hormonal BC. Talk to your doctor.
Condoms are a lot better option for birth control at your age! No hormones in a growing teenage body is the main one, but they also prevent STI's. While you're at the doctor, maybe get tested for those as well.

I have, I cannot have sex while I'm bleeding it's getting heavier and the pains are keeping me up at night I don't want to go to the doctors incase they tell me I'm being silly and just having a period but I've took a pregnancy test and it came up negative so I really ain't sure what's going on
