I really need guidance and I'm not sure where to turn. My in-laws do not know how to handle infants safely and do not listen to me. Yesterday, my MIL picked up my almost-7-month-old by her arms to pick her up. I panicked and said, "You can't pick her up like that!" My MIL ignored me, so I said, "You could pull her shoulders out of the sockets by picking her up like that." Again, she ignored me. I told my husband that he has to monitor his parents more closely when they are handling our daughter and say something to them when they handle her in ways that could injure her. I'm so angry about this! Should my husband say something to his mother about ignoring me and the importance of handling our daughter safely to avoid injury?
