Hello everyone, I am a 21 year-old first time mother. Currently on my own & in need of a job where I can keep my 9 month-old don with me. I am originally from California, so I don't really know trustworthy people. I feel a bit stuck! I am too afraid to leave my son with a stranger, please help!

I would be suspicious of anyone wanting to send you money. The real estate agent would accept money transfers so there would be no need for you to be the middle man.

Hello everyone, so I did find a job offer as a careprovider, 3 times a week for very well pay. It is for an older woman, her brother is the one I have been e-mailing back and forth with. They will be arriving here to Laredo, TX from Alaska soon In this month. He wants to send me a certain amount of money so I can give to the estate agency to get them a home here. In the money he will be sending, he asked for me to deduct my 1st weeks pay. What do you guys think about this? Is it possible for people to trust you just like that with such a high portion of money? ($2,800) I need some feedback...

Its not that hard to get one Craigslist is usually the cheapest, but there is Amazon,eBay,but some work from home let you use your smartphone you just have to look around.

You should work from home or if you have experience in childcare, try a daycare Center. They usually let you put your kids in the program too, some with a discount.

Brianna--

Yes, some daycares have a camera in the room so that parents can check in during the day online to see what is going on with the child. So that is an option. Good Luckl?

I have no idea, I wouldn't think the surveillance would be made public. You don't want pedophiles getting hold of that footage. You'll have to ask them when you go and visit. Every daycare will allow you to visit even without an appointment to check them out. Just make sure you don't go just after lunch as that's usually nap time. Visit different ones in your area and choose the one you feel most comfortable with.
I am in Australia so have no idea about daycares near you.

Thank you, Michelle! Yes, these are the options I will be considering starting Monday morning. Is it possible, there being daycares where I could check surveillance through my phone? Btw, I am living in Texas.

Unless you work from home there are very few jobs where you can take your child with you. If you look into the local daycare centres and really check them out then he will be fine. Many women around the world have to work outside the home to be able to provide for their children and the children can thrive in daycare.
I have had very social children and they have all loved daycare. I couldn't keep them entertained at home all the time.
You may even want to look at hiring a nanny that will look after your child in your home.
