Hi everyone
First let me say your stories have all helped me so much already! I recently found out I was 4.5 weeks pregnant and was ecstatic! We had been trying for 5 months to conceive. I went out of town to celebrate and see some family. I posted on fb and bragged to any stranger who would listen (what can I say... I knew I should wait but I was filled with joy and excitement).
Both 5 home pregnancy tests and a doctor had confirmed it so it felt unstoppable.
During my trip I took a test for the simple pleasure of seeing the word 'pregnant' as I wanted to take a keepsake pic. To my shock all that came up was 'not pregnant'...:(
I went to the hospital where they confirmed thru urine and blood that my level was indeed 14 and therefore I was miscarrying. I felt like my life was over. I went from winning the lotto ( or so it felt) to nothing. Just numb and depressed.
It's been 2 days and although I still haven't had my period I am starting to see that life can and will go on and if I'm half as blessed as many of you ladies this will just be a bump on my journey to motherhood. I'm 29 and healthy. This wast first pregnancy. Again I still haven't bled however, I have read some of your stories which say you got pregnant even without bleeding after your miscarriage. My question is should I wait 100% until it passes... Can I still get pregnant in the meantime? I'm very confused and need some light please send se my way ladies!

Thank you for your response. You are probably right on saying my doctor knows best but right now my heart is saying 'take the happiest story you have read and hopefully it will happen to you as well'... Another thing which says I'm probably not in the right mind frame to try ASAP.
I appreciate your help and thank you for thoughts :)

I would go to the doctor and have an exam. This way you can make sure everything is fine to start trying again. I think if it has only been 2 days, it is way to soon to be trying again. This is really a question for your doctor. At least give yourself some time to grieve. So sorry for you loss.
