With income tax coming around I get about $2,000 each year for my son. I took him and my mom to Disney World last year and used some of it for bills. My question is should I take him on a few trips again since that moneys for having him?? I feel I should and feel like it would be messed up not to, I don't spend any money on me when I get it I buy him stuff he needs save some and take him places so should I keep doing that???

I actually do stuff like that already I have a blog for families on a budget or find free things to do in our state and town. I don't come from lots of money but I have money saved and spend wisely. Disney was less then $1000 for 9days and we got to see 2parks all 3 of us for only $100. I'm a smart planner for the most part. I was thinking this year go to like 6places around our way or afew states over with around $1000 to do it all.

You should really put some away for a rainy day when you get stuck with a broke down car, miss a lot of work due to illness or something else or other possible problems. Use it to pay some bills and use it for some fun but trips to Disney World and the like all the time you get a refund should not be the main reason to use the money. Its wonderful you want to do those things for your son but he needs you more. Instead of doling out a few thousand on a trip, take him to a museum that is kid friendly, take him to see things he might not get to see but once in a life time, take a one day road trip rather than a one week stay at a resort like place where you can see where the road goes and stop here and there to see what is there....If you keep doing this he will expect it and one year you may not be able to, then what?
