Have you all thought about Indoor air pollution? I was thinking of investing in a good air quality monitor? Apparently, indoor polluted air can lead to asthma and allergies in babies and infants. Thanks for your advice.

Yup, any plant will help. The more the better, my mom practically has a jungle in her house.

Hey thanks..

There are many air monitors available for baby's room especially. They tell you the level of pollutants. I am not sure if it's a scam though? Hmmmm....

Yeah I agree, but I think ventilation is important to keep the air pure. We need to ventilate based on the amount of stuffiness in the house. A purifier may not indicate when ventiltion is needed. IT may work otherwise I think.

Well I have a newborn and he has been coughing lately so thought about it.

LOL...those too. We just live in a very high allergen area, plus the purifier let's me have cats, which I love, but am allergic to. Not to mention wildfire season...

Not sure about an air monitor, but I do have an air purifier running 24/7, and have since my eldest was born.

Are the members of your family suffering from allergies and asthma?

I think checking for mold is very important, mold contamination certainly can lead to other illnesses. But I also feel keeping a tidy home will accomplish the same as what you are looking from. If you are concerned, stop using air fresheners, scented candles, carpet deodorizer, and look for natural cleaning products. Avoid softener and dryer sheets, I mean the list goes on. It just depends on how far you want to take it. I am not certain and indoor air pollution detector is anything more than a scam, but I would have to be shown proof that it isn't.
