I had a similar issue my daughter. In the end I asked her doctor about it and she said to buy some baby prune juice and give it to her. It worked great for us, but if u r worried about it, u should give ur doctor a call and ask for their advice. Chances r they have dealt with this issue many times and have some great advice.

Not pooping can be a sign she is not getting enough to eat. In general 100% breastfed babies rarely get constipated. They can grunt and strain and seem like they can't pass stool. I would not hesitate to take the baby to the doctor immediately. Has she been making ample urine 6-8 wets of light colored urine?

My son was strictly BF also when he started with constipation issues. BF babies CAN get constipated too! I heard all the time when he was suffering "breastfed babies don't get constipated"....yes they can. Yes they do.

My son was very constipated at that age. Talk to your pharmacist and doctor. I had to use a glycerin suppository. DON"T use until directed....but ask about it.
