This is the second year my sons teachers would not let him get his inhaler for his asthma. Also he is getting over strep throat and is coughing and the teachers are telling him to stop. What do I do besides ream her?

You take it further than the teacher. Even get a letter from your doctor stating that he is to have his medication when it's needed, no if's or but's.

I'm with Evelyn. In all of the schools in our state, and the other states I've lived in, if you take the prescription, and a note from your child's doctor that explains how and when the medication should be administered, they are required by law to let him have it.

I do not understand how they can deny him his medicine. If you take it to the nurse and so on with the prescription label on it she should be able to give it to him.
