Ya ultrasounds between 10-14wks are about 80% accurate, Ultrasounds done around the 18th-20th week are 95%-100% accurate.

Even ultrasounds aren't 100% accurate. The only way to know FOR CERTAIN the gender of your baby is to have an amniocentesis done.

it is a store bought test to predict the gender of your baby as early as 10 weeks pregnant but its not 100% accurate

Heather: I wasn't recommending an amnio, just saying it was the only 100% method of determining gender in utero.

my bf got me the test for xmas because thats all i could think of that i wanted and im 12 weeks and it said it was A BOY!!!! i hope its right, we have a 15 months old daughter together and they will be just shy of 2 years apart. but my gut is saying its a boy cuz my pregnancy is so different compared to my daughter.

Thank you Stephanie.

@Kate I agree with you that ultra sounds aren't 100% accurate and feel an amniocentesis is not worth the risk.

I took the test at 11 weeks and it was right! You just have to follow directions to the T if you want correct results. I would recommend it, it is fun to do!!

I know several moms who did it and the result was wrong. I would not personally put my faith in it.
