So i have been reading up alot on the different kids of tantrums and how to cope and also how to handle them properly etc. but i cannot fine one that is very similar to the one i am experiencing myself. I have read alot on different food tantrums but they all have to do with the child being picky and not wanting food. 9 mo old babygirl never throws a tantrum evvvvvverrrr like perfectly content at ALL times. Even with toys and bedtime etc. Lay her in the crib and walk away and shes passed out within 10 minutes on her own until morning, maybe wake up once or twice through the night but my point to that is that it makes this all even more strange.
OK so food time. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.. doesnt matter, put her in the highchair and grab some baby food to spoon feed her and as soon as she takes the first bite she flippps a LID if you dont keep feeding her as fast as she can swallow! so basically in between spoonfulls as i am trying to load the food on the spoon she flips and screams and whales and whips her head back really hard and just throws a fit because she wants more, more more more... even after i give her two small cups of baby food she flips. I feel like she would keep eating until i ran out lol. But my issue is that i DO NOT want her understanding that that is tolerable or an acceptful way to act or treat someone. I know shes still very young and wont fully understand yet, however... you cannot let them start realizing and understanding that they can get their way no matter what as long as they flip out and throw a tantrum so if anyone has had this similar or exact situation or can offer some insight, please do! thank you
