Intro to cereal

Don't do it. It is true that many of pediatricians say that you can start "solids" such as cereal at 4 months but you really should wait until 6 months. This is when the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends as well but because they use to think it was ok at 4 months many doctors are still in the habit of telling parents, incorrectly, to start at 4. However, before 6 months their bellies are still underdeveloped and not mature enough yet to process those foods properly & you also increase their chances of developing food allergies. The only nutrition the need from birth to 6 months is in breast milk or formula and then you can start to slowly introduce cereal & other foods into their diet. If you are finding that your baby is hungrier than normal increase the amount of milk you are feeding. It is quite possible he/she is going through a growth spurt which is common at that age. Good luck!
