Our gym starts classes at 3. 4 is a fine age to start. Talk to the coaches at your potential gym (or gyms) and share your concerns. A good instructor will be more than willing to take her and see how it goes.

My girls are a LOT like Stacey's... except our worse injury so far has been a sprain. Missing gym for any reason is like the end of the world... even when the gym is closed. :)

Thank you Mandy, she's a tough cookie and so brave. Hopefully it will heal ok and she'll be back at it soon. She was just learning to perfect her bridge.

Ask the local gymnastics class, my daughters don't start them un till the child is 5 but they excepted my daughter at 4 because of her level of understanding. She's been and seems to really enjoy's it, 2 days ago she she fractured her elbow ( playing with her sister) and she is more upset that she has to miss gymnastics.
