Is a night feeding at 12 months still ok?

My daughter will be one tomorrow, we are still getting up to feed her a bottle once a night usually around 2 AM. I was wondering if she is too old for this or if it is normal? She wakes up and we feed her a bottle change her diaper and then she goes right back to sleep! If she is too old, how do I stop it?

I don't know any formula-fed babies IRL, so I can only speak for breastfed ones. To me it sounds normal -- my DD was certainly still nursing a few times a night at that age. Babies are hungry when they're hungry.

Yes it is normal. Every child is different. If she acts truly hungry, give her the bottle. If it seems more for attention or reassurance, gradually dilute the bottle with water and quit warming it so it becomes less attractive.

The ODD time my 13 month old will have a late feeding.but its been awhile since he needed to,if it happens i would probably try giving him water,he is not a pacifier baby. (thank goodness)

I would try getting her off of the middle of the night feeding. Does she take a pacifier? If she wakes up I'd try not to pick her up but just console her (give her a pacifier if she takes one) then seeing if she'll go back to sleep like that.

All my kids were breastfed, so no bottles.

My twins slept 12 hour nights at 6 months... for a month. Then they were back up nursing once or twice a night til we were weaning at 14 months.

My son only slept through the night w/out nursing about half a dozen random times until he turned 2.

I don't have any experience w/ the bottle angle though. ;)
