I am a mom of a 2 1/2 year old. This weekend my fiance and I are going on a road trip with another couple. The couple that we are going with don't have kids so they want us to have fun with them. They want to go clubbing since it is not something my fiance and I normally do. My mother will be staying with my daughter for the weekend and this trip gives us a little bit of a break since we don't get any which is good but how do i deal with having drinks and going out with the couple we are going with?don't get me wrong it sounds like fun but my fiance is completely against going clubbing. I am caught in the middle I have no idea what to do in this case because some say you're a mom you can't do that and some say well enjoy you two are great parents and are still young. someone help LOL!

If your fiance is against it, you should respect that.

Clubbing as a parent isn't any worse than clubbing as a non parent as long as your child is being completely cared for and it's not a regular thing. Personally, I'm w/ your fiance on this one and am also completely against alcohol... and that's one of the many things that destroyed my marriage. My ex made a promise to me prior to us becoming engaged that he absolutely denied even happening after we'd been married a few years.
