This is my first child and I've gotten a lot of mixed advice from people so I'm really not sure what to do. She is already double her birth weight, can sit up own her own just fine, and growing really fast. She has only been breastfed and I was told to wait until six months to start solid foods but I'm worried that just breast milk isn't enough for her anymore. She get fussy less than an hour after she eats and is hungry all the time and I don't want to put her on formula but my body isn't keeping up with her now that she is hungry this much. I've had some people tell me I need to start giving her the baby rice cereal and some people tell me not to give her anything else until she is six months. I also know that all babies are different so where some babies don't need it until six months, mine might need it now at four. She has an appointment coming up in a couple of weeks and I can ask her doctor about this as well but I would like some other opinions too. I want to make sure I am doing what is best for her.
