hey i can understand . . My baby had bad colic and it was a tough time for us too. My dr gave something called as Colicaid drops . . .remember drops Not syrup. It has same content as gripe water but he was of the opinion that we should give that instead of gripe water . Colic passes with time and baby will get better . Try giving these drops 15 or ten mins before feeds . Also if u notice a specific timing for colic like u mentioned evening give her drops in advance . This is not a medication .i dont know where u live or if u will get it there . So conform with ur babies dr before giving anything pl . I was a also exclusively bf my baby . This will pass soon . For my baby it lasted up to around 2 months with some reoccurance later. Confort the baby , try distracting baby with soft musical toy , always burp the baby after every feed, and ya rocking the baby softly to sleep helped me a lot . Once my lil one had a had bad episode of colic and she kept on crying n refusing feed . . . We did tk her to dr . . N all but later i rocked her to nap and she was much better after that . Since then in bad colic phases we started gently rocking her for nap . And it was much manageabl for us and less painfull for her too . U too pl tk rest since it has just been 5 weeks after ur delivery , eat well and try n rest wwhenever ur baby naps. it does take a toll on us too . Hope this helps May things get better for u soon . Take care .
