Is it a good idea for siblings to share a bedroom from an early age?

Mine have been sharing from the beginning. They are now 4 and 7 years old. We only have 2 bedrooms. Many of their friends do too. We live in Eastern Europe where this is normal.

I think so, I think it's comforting for them. But it might be tricky when the youngest is a baby who wakes up at night. You don't want everyone to wake up!

It probably depends on how your oldest boy sleeps, too. I think kids are able to sort of block out the crying. My sister and I shared a room as soon as she was born, and she was very sick and cried a LOT. But it didn't affect my sleep, really. But I am a sound sleeper, even now. Maybe other kids would wake up more easily.

i have 2 boys, a 2 yr old & a 6 mth old. my oldest has been sleeping in his room since he was 1.5 mth. he is now sleeping in a single bed. my 6 mth old baby sleeps in our bedroom. we have an extra room, but some people say not to seperate them at a young age but to let them share a room. then again i'm thinking if the baby wakes up at night, then he'll wake my oldest. when they take they're afternoon naps i'm afraid that my oldest will wake up the baby cause it takes him awhile to go to sleep & the baby wakes up easily. confused!!!!!!! when should i take the baby out of our bedroom? i don't jealousy to start either.
