Is it a singleton or twins?

I am 21 weeks and HUGE. My hips and pelvis have been hurting since 6 weeks. At times I can't stand. I noticed hips were spreading as of 10 weeks along. Nausea has not stopped or slowed down. I'm constantly tired and over heated even when others are cool. I have been feeling little flicks for about a month now and just a week ago started feeling hard lumps push out from my belly. One wouldnt move for four hours and all I could do was rub it. I started getting stretch marks at 12 weeks along.
I'm knowledgeable and have been doing tons of research. I am eating healthy, getting as much rest as possible but this pregnancy is moving fast. Two weeks ago the doc measured my womb and when I feel how it is now its a good 4 to 5 inches higher on my belly. Because of circumstances I have been unable to get back in for an ultrasound, but with all of my symptoms being so strong and feeling things so early I am concerned.
FYI I am not a petite woman that is gaining all baby in the front. I am 6'2. Gained probably 30 lbs already and know its not from eating habits. Any suggestions ladies? Cause I have a very strong feeling that this is twins.

Well, you can't really put doubt in the doctors until you have an ultrasound. It is your circumstances preventing that, so it sounds like you are just going to have to be patient. Due dates are only estimates, so changing a due date doesn't make the doctor wrong. It just helps in planning, that's all. Believe me, it will probably change another dozen times between now and then, and when it all comes down to it, your baby is unlikely to be born on its due date anyway. Just hang in there until you have your ultrasound. When was the last time you saw your doctor?

the issue with the heart beat is they couldnt get a steady hold on Jellybean's heart beat and seemed to be in to opposite spots at the same time. It even made the doctor frown. I'm being forced to wait at least another two weeks before I can get back home and schedule an ultrasound. My biggest issue is they keep changing my due date and making me further along than I am. I am 100% certain that I can't be more than 21 weeks, but they keep saying I'm showing more like 25. This is where I start to doubt the doctors

Like Jodi said. Go and get the ultrasound done. I was huge with all of mine and they were singletons each time. Most people would ask if there was 2 though.

Go for the ultrasound? Really, everything you describe could still be a single baby, so a bunch of women on the internet are unlikely to be able to confirm if you are having twins or not. It might be, it might not be. By now I would have thought they'd have picked up a second heart beat, but hey, nothing is an exact science. If you are concerned, get the ultrasound done or ask your doctor.

just a side note all the weight I am gaining is going to my belly. Pant size has not changed and the only reason shirt has is cause my belly sticks out so much.
