Is it acceptable for your children to sleep on airbeds during overnight contact with dad?

Hi all

A question. Is it me being unreasonable but if a father was to sell his childrens beds from his home. Show them the pictures on ebay and then on overnight contact allow them to sleep on air beds should i really be a livid as i feel right know or let it be!

They had a bedroom there and seperate beds now my ex has had a baby and has no bedroom for them anymore. Apparently they don't stay enough to warrant 'proper' beds. Please tell me what you think as i am so unhappy for them. They are not thrilled at the idea. They are both 10 plus. Needing their own space and privacy.

Thank you for reading. x

It's not ideal, and it wasn't real brilliant to show them the pics on ebay... however, if they aren't sleeping much at dad's house, doing so on air mattresses won't kill them either. Even if they were to have "real" beds, with the new baby, and limited space, it wouldn't make any difference on the privacy issue. I guess I'd let it go.

My 3 kids all share a room with their 2 step siblings when they visit their father. Legally, they are supposed to have their own space, but it doesn't bother them and it's not a big enough of an issue for me to complain about.

Selling their beds and kicking them out of space that was previously theirs though... Yeah, that would definitely bother me.
