Is it normal for an infant to seem angry or frustrated? My son has expressed frustration after he first started putting toys to his mouth at about 2-3 months. Now, at 5 months his squeeling of anger is turning into sounds like hes having a little temper tantrum and banging his hands down as he does it.

It's ok, babies feel frustration just as older kids do. His little display is his way of dealing with it. At five months he could be teething and it's making him feel cranky. Don't be concerned, he's just coping with his own feelings that he doesn't understand himself.
