If you are breastfeeding it is very unlikely the baby is constipated. Some breastfed babies can have a bowel movement every week or two. As long as the bowel movement, when they do have it, is soft they are fine.

If you're wondering why, first realize that bowels are the left overs our bodies couldn't use. Breastfed babies are able to digested everything they took in.

If the bowel movement is pebbles or hard in general you can give the baby water or apple juice of course after you speak with your doctor.
