Is it ok to continue to let my 18mo daughter sleep with me? (single mother)

It will likely make it difficult to break away from it when she reaches the age that you want it to stop, but right now, if you are okay with it, there is nothing wrong with it. It is more of a personal preference.

If neither of you objects I don't see why anyone else should!
We co-slept with our daughter for 2 years. Then she moved into her own bed in our room for another few years. She had no trouble transitioning to her own room once we had one for her :-)

I mean in terms of making it harder to stop. My friends tell me all the time this is a bad habit and I am only making it harder for her to want to sleep in her own bed later.

I still sleep with my 18month old son, and I co-slept with my 8year old son up till he was 2years. I would say it is long as you are not a wild sleeper
