Well, you actually CAN go wrong. It's called water intoxication. You shouldn't be giving an infant water without consulting your doctor. Your infant does not NEED water.

I would in warm weather or if on hols, as long as it is boiled and cooled, with breastfeeding the start of your feed is more water so if you are breastfeeding there is no need, plus if you introduce a bottle it may confuse baby, but the best advice is go with your gut instinct you can't really go wrong x x x

Like Sarah said,a baby gets enough water from breastmilk or formula. You should not give water.

No. At 2 months all baby should have is breastmilk or formula. They are getting all the water they need from their milk. Giving water is filling baby with no nutrients which is not good at all as baby needs those nutrients for proper growth and brain development.
