Is it ok to give my seven month old a pacifier for naps during the day

I am finding that my seven month old baby girl is very difficult to put down for naps during the day, we recently weaned her off the dummy but I am now finding that after finishing a bottle, she nearly wants another one straight away to get her to sleep. I have tried giving her water but this does not seem to satisfy her. I am just wondering if I should give back her pacifier during the day to help her sleep as I have tried everything else. She also gets very cranky when she is overtired and has a bit of a temper.

If the dummy helps settle her during the day and night then let her have it. She's still so young and it's a lot easier to get rid of the dummy than it is a finger or thumb.
