is it oke to shop for my teenage son, or I should let him shop for himself?

My son likes going shopping by himself but I worry over the kind of stuff he might pick from the stores that could spoil his morals. Please advise me.

Let him shop for himself. My son is 16 and has been buying his own clothes for a few years. I give him a certain amount of money and tell him that with this money, his purchase MUST include certain things (eg, you must purchase X jumpers, X pairs of tracksuit pants, X number of t-shirts, etc) and if he wants to purchase things outside of that, things I wouldn't normally buy for him or pay for, well, he pays for them himself.

Clothes don't ruin people's morals. I would hope you have taught him those already.

Depends on how old your kid is. Most know their own tastes, and can shop for themselves just fine. We did, when we were teens.

As far as 'picking something that could spoil his morals'...honey, his morals are ingrained in him. If you don't think you've raised him well enough to make proper decisions, you need to correct that.
