Is it really CPS's business on what a teen wants to be when s/he grows up?

CPS was called in after a 15 year old girl said she likes to feel orgasms. In the 1st visit, CPS sternly told her sex is for adults. In the 1st visit, they told her she thinks about a lot of negative things and needs to think about something positive. One of their definitions of "positive" is what she wants to be in the future. In all subsequent visits, they asked her what she wanted to be. They also insisted the parents install parental controls on their computer. At one point the worker said they would come back in exactly two weeks. In 2 weeks they never came. In 3 weeks they came and the girl said "you promised to come last week" and the worker replied, "I gave you three weeks to think about what you want to be." The girl never stated what she wanted to be throughout the investigation and she probably never thought about what she wanted to be whether given 1 day, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, or 2 months. But is that really their business?

Hasn't something similar to this been posted before, and it was a total troll post?

Most children have some idea of what they want to be when the grow up. Yes it changes all the time but they always have an answer.

I'm with Dove though, are you the teenager?

The red flag to CPS was the first comment you wrote. CPS are correct in trying to redirect the thinking away from sex and onto something more age appropriate.

Are you the teenager....?

If CPS has been called because of a teenager's inappropriate behaviors.... I don't see how it is wrong at all for them to try and get the girl to focus on her future. Much better than neglecting the fact that she could very well end up pregnant before graduating high school and having to fight like crazy to ever even HAVE a future.
