It's certainly not smart to get pregnant on purpose that soon after a c-section.

Since you already ARE pregnant... the doctors should just monitor you extra close. It's not ideal, but it is possible that everything will be ok. Good luck!!

Are you asking because you ARE pregnant 10 months post c section and want to know if it will be ok? Or because you want another child and are considering conceiving again right now and want to know if it that's ok?

If you are not pregnant, the best and most responsible thing to do is wait the full medically recommended time period for your body to completely heal, just to be on the safe side.

That being said, if you are asking because you are already pregnant and looking for peace of mind, I got pregnant (not intentionally; birth control method failed) with my second child six months after having a c section with my first and had no major complications. I had a minor risk factor in my second pregnancy that I didn't have in my first, but which may not have even been related to my prior c section. My doctors monitored my pregnancy a little more closely than the first time around, but nothing major, and everything was just fine. So if you are already pregnant, just be sure you are getting proper regular prenatal care and your OB will be on top of it and everything with probably be fine. If you're not, just be patient and give your body the recommended time before trying to conceive again, and then those risk factors are reduced! :)

No, they recommend at least 18 months - 2 years between pregnancies because of the risks of rupturing the uterus. This allows your body time to heal.
