Hi. So I am in the initial few days of my first pregnancy. I just read online that certain types of cheese should be avoided. I had betty crocker cheese and mac a few days back and now I am worried. Did I make a mistake? Is the baby fine?

The certain cheeses that should be avoided are soft cheeses like Camembert, Brie and others like it.
Mac and cheese is pretty much all processed so you'll be fine.

The reason soft cheeses are not recommended when pregnant is because they are more likely to grow bacteria, such as a listeria infection, which can be detrimental to baby. However, you would be affected too. If you have not been sick, then there has been no infection and baby is perfectly fine. Listeria infections are not common - they do happen, but rarely.

You are leaking milky white fluid vaginally, or from your breasts. If it is vaginal and as a foul odor, go talk to your doctor. Otherwise it is typical.
