Is my baby ready for an overnight w/Grandma??

I waited until my now 2yr old was 7 months old before letting her stay overnight. My 2nd baby is almost 3 months old and I'm already thinking about letting her stay at Grandma's. Things are definitely different the second time around. I'm so in need of some adult time, it's sad. But I don't want to put my needs before the baby's needs. My sense of self as well as my marriage could really use this time apart. I'm trying really hard not to feel guilty, but ever since I've become a mom, guilt is one of my top stressors. Any words of encouragement?

I don't see anything wrong at all as long as you trust grandma to be able to take care of them then why not?
Babies create strains and sometimes we all need a break, I know I'm always better for them after grandmas had them a night once in a blue moon and I've had some piece and a full nights sleep.

None of my kids did overnights under 2 years old. I breastfed, so overnighters under a year wouldn't have been a viable option even if I had wanted to do that.

It's really your choice though and if you are ok with an overnighter at 7 months... I really don't see the big difference between doing it then and doing it at 3 months.
