Is my baby the only one????

OMG....please help!!!
My almost 15 month old little girl used to be such a great little eater...but all of a sudden, lunch and dinners have become a nightmare!!!! She won't eat what is given to her (she has been on table food for about 3 months now) and it has come to a point where we end up giving her a jar/pouch of baby food (which when she see's she gets sooooooo excited!!!). I am stuck here. She will not eat any sandwiches for lunch, even if i have mixed them up with different fillings and i think the only thing she will eat now on her own is pasta....but i can't give her pasta everyday!!!!!! Is there anyone else out there whose child all of a sudden just stopped eating?? I don't know if it is a phase or if it is her teething but i just don't know what to do. Her older sister was very different so i can't even compare with her!
Thank you in advance!! xo

You are not the only one. Kids are finicky. This is when you need to stick to your guns and not give in to feeding them what they want. Your daughter will not starve. She will eat one of the things presented to you eventually. That's when you have made a break through. Keep putting finger food in front of her - little bits of food. When she throws it on the floor, pick it up and act like nothing had happened. Some little bits ideas: peas, broken up turkey bacon, strands of string cheese, grated carrots, grated apples - get the idea? Feel free to email me with more questions -

They go through phases ... don't worry and don't push. You don't want food to become an issue

Only offer healthy stuff - no pasta - no real nutritional value in that - empty calories

Offer only healthy options, she will eat or she won't - she is likely not growing fast right now, so doesn't need as much. That will change soon enough

Don’t hide veggies. She needs to see them, like them, eat them … they will if veggies are what they are use to eating

thanks Emma, yeah, i guess i will have to look into the foods she will eat and try and hide some veggies that way. I haven't got much issues with her having fruit or yoghurt as she likes to eat them but i use them as a dessert after each meal....

yeah mine did this at 11 months and still is very picky about what he eats and LOVES those pouches. you just have to hide vegetables in the sauce of everything, keep offering them vegetables and other things anyway and make some foods fun (like the pouches my kid sucks the fruit out, at least it's fruit!) i guess until they get over it.
