My Dr. has prescribed Lisinopril for my hypertension and the pharmacist couldn't find anything either way as to weather it is ok to take while breastfeeding. She said it is used in younger patients but nothing on newborns or infants or how much may be released into my breastmilk. I am currently taking Aldomed ( Metheldopa) which I took for my entire pregnancy but it seems to have stopped working, last checked my BP was 163/101. Please any info would be good because I'm getting really sick of these headaches all day long.

These questions are really meant for your doctor, not a bunch of mothers on line who have no clue about your medical history or your babies. Please follow up with your MD.
