so my 3 month old won't nurse from my right side and hasn't been for a month now.she's only nursing from the left.I haven't told her doctor yet.but last visit which was 2 weeks ago she weighed 12 lbs,and they said she was average.my left side fills up every e hours I can literally pump 4 oz from it.whereas the right side stays soft and saggy and she never wants it she just screams and kicks.I have tried different positions.still no luck.I recently started pumping it.when I pump it by itself I get half an once to 2 oz of drips.today I pumped nursing her.it was very uncomfortable she kept pullin off the other breast and sometimes litteraly clampin down on my nipple.so painful.I got 3 oz out which was great but It was still a hassel and then when I tried to give her the bottle when she seemed hungry, she didn't want it(the bottle with the pumped breastmilk).I'm begining to feel helpless and sad and worried if my infant is getting enough breastmilk to the point I just want to cry.help!

If she has several wet diapers per day and is gaining weight then she is getting enough to eat. Keep pumping the right side, though, or it will dry up and you will be lopsided :) Also, if you keep pumping the side she won't nurse from and you don't think she's getting enough from the other side you still have some milk leftover to offer her.

Yea she has plenty wet diapers.she only poops once a day like 4-5 days a week, which I hear is normal.I actually am lopsided.it sucks but I guess she's gaining weight.I get more when I pump in the morning which is also normal.I just wish she would take both sides that it didn't get this far because I feel its too late and it hurts me sometimes(physically) I have to nurse her to sleep because she's colicky with reflux.I'm a first time mommy so its fustrating I'd rather get my info from my doc but its also nice to get some other moms opinions.
