Is ok to have my child still sleep with me at the age of 10?

My daughter has her own bed but from time to time still sleep with me a few nights out the week? Is it okay that I let her still do that?

Best way to deal with it? Stop telling people. Opinions are like assholes, everyones got one. BUT, you are the momma, and you get to decide what is right for your little family, not friends, family and strangers. Your daughter can clearly sleep by herself, but it seems both of you like the company. Don't fret. This will not last forever. It will come to a point where she doesn't want to any longer, and you may miss that. Enjoy it while you can.

I was told that it was wrong of me to still let her. Myself, I didn't see the harm in her doing so. She still sleeps in her bed but maybe one or two nights out of the week she will come and sleep with me. We basically make it into our annual pajama party that we have one night out of the week.

If she needs you and you don't mind... nothing in the world wrong with it. She's your daughter... parenting doesn't stop when the kids go to sleep. ♥

If it is ok with you and your daughter, then it is ok. A lot of people may have opinions about it, but it is non of their business. Personally I don't see the harm.
