Is sleeping through the night okay?

My baby is 2 1/2 months old and the past two nights he has slept 9 hours. He is acting normal everywhere else and I didn't think there was an issue until I got accused of starving him! Is he okay to sleep when he wants?

As long as he's fine during the day and continuing to grow and thrive normally, consider yourself a lucky, lucky woman and let that boy sleep! Just keep in mind that he may go back to night wakings in the future and that is ok too.

You bet it is! Trust me, if he was hungry he would wake up. We also let our son sleep when he wanted to sleep at that age, you're doing the right thing! Enjoy! :)

Your baby is content that is all. If he was hungry he would wake up and tell you. As long as he is eatting fine in the day and bright and alert in the mornings he is absolutely fine. The person that told you that you are starving him is out right jealous! We all dream of sleep with a little one!
