Well, here I am in 2012...last post in 2009...still have RA...medication works well...stress impacts so more muscular impact...specialist happy with readings for RA...Methotrexate, Arava, Prednisolone and Folic Acid ...I tested positive for RA factor years ago...seems muscular has taken over in a way or am I just more prone to this due to RA?

i've had RA for almost 8 years. It started when I was pregnant with my first child. After having my second it has calmed down a lot but I still don't have any days pain free... it's no where near as bad as it was and I am off meds except for the odd pain med. Are you blood tests positve for the RA factor?

I have been diagnosed just this January, just waiting to see what the rest of my life will be like? does anyone live pain free?

I was diagnosed 9 years ago. Turning 56 years this year. Found medication has enabled me to continue full time work as Primary Teacher. Each day a different trouble spot. Worse when overtired. More mobile as day goes on.

I have been suffering with RA since about six months after the birth of my first daughter.  Are you in the early stages?
