My oldest son,who is 54 doesn't give a damn about me, even though I did the best I could for him when I was raising him. My husband didn 't make much money, so I had to go to work. That was in the early '60's when it was shameful for a mother to work outside the home. I wanted to be a stay at home mom, but I couldn't. So, I took a job as a typist so that I wouldn't have a stressful job that would keep me from being a good mom. I loved my boys and I did the best I could for them. The younger son, age 52, is a very caring man. Both boys live out of state, so I don't see them very often. While the UNCARING son who doesnt' have time for me takes trips 6 times a year to Asia, Europe and every Carribean island you can think of, the younger one sees me as often as he possibly can.l

How can 2 sons be so different when they are raised in the same household? The older one told me he had the worst childhood that anyone could possibly have, while the younger one thinks his childhood
was okay.
