My daughter is in preschool, she is 5 but won't start kindergarten until the fall.
On Friday I was informed she had eaten the other half of another child's sandwich. The teacher said she's not sure how, why or if she asked to share all she knows is that she ate it and the other little girl didn't say anything until after the fact. This is the first time she's ever done this, we obviously have spoken to her about it and made her write an apology note. She got her tablet taken away for it as well. The teacher said she's going to have her to eat lunch alone a few days. I understand my daughter shouldn't have and she needs to clearly apologize and never do this again but is a few days eating alone a fair punishment?? She turned 5 in Oct.
