Yes, dancing is a normal 3 yo passtime, for boys and girls both
Whether or not you hold him back another year will partially depend on your school district rules. In our current district, if they are not born by 9/15, they are not eligible for that year, but in our previous district, the cutoff was July 10. Check with your district to find out the rules.
You'll also want to consider his development levels. One of my sons was ready for school when he was 4, but the other was almost 6 before we put him into kindergarten.
You covered your last question yourself. I have known very few 3 year olds who are fluently speaking on a consistent basis. After all, he's only 3. If you are concerned, by all means have him evaluated by a therapist, but don't be discouraged if they tell you the same thing his doctor did at the last appointment.

ok....well my 3-yr old son like to spin like a ballerina, putting his hand above his head with a complet turn----should I be worried?
Also, he will be the youngest child in his school class (born 8/19)--------should I keep him at home another year before entering school (which would then make him one of the oldest in the class)?
Also,, he is 3 years old and has yet to develop fluent speech----should I be worried? Last I askd his dr., she said that he was doin fine (3-4 mths ago). Should we see a speech pathologist?
