Most of time when a Mother asks for suggestions we tell them to ask the child what they want to do.
Why don't you ask your friends if they have any suggestions since they will probably be the ones going.

Thanks I have thought of that but I'm just one of those children that never know what to do because I don't want to break the bank for my parents but I want to have fun and let it be special on my birthday. Thanks for being kind.

You're so mean! Thanks for the suggestions but other mums have asked about what to do for their child's 16th birthday so I thought it would be a good idea but obviously not. Just because I'm not a mum does not mean I can not be treated like an adult.

Well... for my 16th birthday I watched TV all day and ate pizza and chocolate cake w/ my mom and my older brother.. so how about that? ;)

No one else is wasting their time even conversing w/ you because this is not what this site is for... It isn't for children to get ideas about a party... it is for mom's to share concerns and support w/ each other.

If I knew my teenagers were on a site like this they would lose internet privileges, so... take what you will from this conversation... or not.

Fine but most mums are able to answer a simple question of what do I do for my birthday suggestions and even if it isn't near me I can still pick the ones that I know are near me. so sorry I'm not as desisive as you would like me to be. its hard trying to do a special party all on my own planning it myself without my parents because they are busy working

That was my point on how pointless it is for you to come on a mom's site to ask what to do for your birthday.... I posted what MY teenagers would like...

We aren't you, we don't know you, most of the people posting on this site have no clue about where you live and what you have available where you live....

Why not ask your actual parents instead of a bunch of parents of other people...?

Thanks but where do I do surfing. I don't think there is a place near me in Leeds that does surfing lessons and there isn't a proper sea or beach to do it at unlike America.

Are you 10 or almost 16... you are going to be an adult in a mere 2 years... and you can't just go ahead and pick something to do for your birthday? Come on... it's one day out of the rest of your life. Pick something you like and just do it.

If you were one of my daughters... you would want to spend the day surfing w/ your friends and then maybe have a sleepover party w/ pizza and movies.... in fact, they will probably do something very similar when they DO turn 16 in a year and a half...

It is not that easy. I like them all. Also, I wanted extra suggestions on what would be good for me to do.

It's your party. You made a list of suggestions already... just pick one. No one online can do it for you.

I know. I have looked at the internet and I have written down ideas but it is really hard to choose what I want to do. The weather is mixed in September but remember it is autumn so can be unexpected.

This is an international site so finding people that know what the weather is like in your area at that time of the will be hard, never mind something to actually.
Surely you know what is around for you to do.
Google is also a great way to find things locally.

Depends where you live? How big of a group, and will it be girls, boys or both?
