It is ok to trust someone when that person already hurt you ?

This is a very simplistic pole to a complicated situation. In general past behavior is the best way to knowing what future behavior will be. Then again people can change, but in general it takes effort on their part, sometimes councelling. I think to trust someone who's already hurt you, you need to see actual behavior that shows a change, not take someone on their word when their word isn't trustworthy.
Sorry if I'm overanalyzing this but I don't think it's as simple as 'yes' or 'no'...
