Is it normal for my 6 year old girl to have underarm hair growth? I have twin girls, one is very different from the other... any advice?

Early onset puberty is a true phenomenon, girls as young as 6 or 7 get their period, breasts and reach their full height very young. Fortunately your doctor can help you with a solution, IF this is even the issue. She may just need a little help with hygiene and use deodorant if needed. Expect your doctor to check her blood work to be sure her adrenal glands are working they way they should for her age. Good Luck! Keep us posted.

Thanks, will talk to our local doctor next week when in town, She has thick hair, rather large, very energetic and loves running since she could walk, very tall for her age too.. sister is quite opersite. Just a little concerned that she had a body oder when sweats in summer and now discovered the fine hair growth.

If they are fraternal twins, they are linked just like sisters and will demonstrate different characteristics. Is your daughter already a hairy kid? What is your ethnicity? If it is a just a bit of fuzz I wouldn't think much of it, but mention at her nest doctor visit. If it is really growing in and she is showing any other signs of puberty, I'd call her doctor to see if she may be experiencing early onset adolescence.
