I have to say I don't undertsand why some people have that "it's good enough" mentality when it comes to their children!?
I buy my baby organic, non-processed foods whenever possible. Is this somehow unreasonable or unecessary?
It bothers me so much when people say "well I didn't have those kind of foods when I was little and I'm just fine" That may be so, but there is also so much more crap in our foods now then there ever was even 20 years ago! With organics being so widely available now a days it's not even like you have to go out of your way to buy it, it's in grocery stores everywhere now!
I hate being treated like I'm some parinoid freak for wanting these things for my child! And not EVERYTHING for her has to be 100% natural, organic or preservative free. Do I stop her from eating those mashed potatoes from a resturant when I know they are a mix from a box? No! Or do I stop her from having milk from a resturant or grandmas house when I know it's not organic milk? No! But I really believe it is so important to cut down on those kinds of things when possible.
Am I alone in this?
