It's not pregnancy, is it?

I am 7 months postpartum and for roughly three weeks now have been experiencing period like cramps - I am still breast feeding and have not yet gotten a period. I feel like it could be coming ...but also recall experiencing period like cramps at the beginning of my pregnancy. Normal?

But what happened for 1 person doesn't happen for another.

Thank's for your response, Michelle. I am aware breast feeding isn't a form of birth control, more so just curious if any other mama's have experienced cramping similar to this prior to their period's returning before purchasing a test to be safe.

We have no idea. Maybe take a test. If you are having unprotected sex then of course you could be pregnant.
Breastfeeding ISN'T birth control and you actually ovulate before you get your period.
