Just found out I'm pregnant!

Me and my bf just broke up before I found out. But I definitely want my baby. How do you co parent with someone you've broken up with? Of course he says he'll help. But I'm not sure(which is why we broke up) how consistent he will actually be? Any suggestions on how to begin the co parent process?

You need to establish a visitation and custody order as soon as the baby is born. Get yourself a lawyer and they would be able to advise you of what you need to do.
In regards to the co parenting, most of us are doing with someone we've broken up with otherwise we are still with the other parent.
I have done shared care for the last 9 years and have found that communication is the most important thing. You need to be able to talk about what the children are doing/have done at your house and any punishments you have enforced. You also need to be able to talk about everyday things in regards to the children. As they get older it gets more important.
