eats so much so often and you can hear the milk hit his stomach because he eats so fast. So my mom convinced me to give him cereal in his bottle, and he likes it! But me being a young mom, who's had everything in my life go wrong, I'm just plain worried I don't know what about, I just have a worried feeling about everything!! Any advice?!

I wasn't bashing you. That insinuates that you took this personally and I called you a bad parent (which I did not do), so maybe you need to learn to be more open to informative advice. No-one is perfect and we all make mistakes. I was giving advice about feeding your baby. You asked, I gave the appropriate and correct advice, and even added an informative link on why you should not be doing it (which I am assuming you have not bothered to read). And the fact is, you are doing something wrong. What sort of advice were you after? Someone to tell you that it was the right thing to do? Sorry, honey, but if you are doing something that can potentially harm your baby, I am going to give you the correct advice that you clearly need, I'm not going to sugar coat it and I'm not going to stroke your ego.

I didn't ask to be bashed! It was one time. I asked for advice, not to be told that I'm doing something wrong in my parenting!!

Uh, I just checked your profile and your baby is 3 weeks old!!! Are you kidding me? You should NOT be giving him cereal, and you should NEVER give cereal in a bottle as it is a choking hazard.

The main reasons to delay solids:
Delaying solids gives baby’s digestive system time to mature.
Delaying solids decreases the risk of food allergies.
Delaying solids helps to protect baby from iron-deficiency anemia.
Delaying solids helps to protect baby from future obesity.

If your baby is hungry, feed him more milk. This is where he should be getting his nutrition from, and he must need it.
