My newborn will only sleep in my arms during the night. She's still very fussy with co-sleeping unless I'm holding her.
I have a Kanga Care carrier to secure her to my chest, above my breasts, to sleep. I'm not concerned for her safety, but for her health.
I know infants are never to be placed prone (stomach) in cribs/bassinets to sleep, but what about sleeping skin to skin?
I've read that mom helps regulate babies breathing in this case, but am looking for more info/studies for support.
