Karate school for 6-year old son
I am from Minnesota and my son has been in Karate for over two years now. He is eight and is three belts away from his black belt. He attends Professional Karate Studio (also called PKS) here in MN. At the time I enrolled him I didn't realize what a great school it was. However, I happen to pop my head in a class that was actually being taught at his elementary school and I wasn't impressed. The reason I wasn't impressed is because the class was full of students with all different levels of belts and only one instructor. I couldn't figure out how he could effectively correct his students mistakes when he had so many to watch at so many different levels.
My son's school let him try a class for free to make sure he wanted to do it before we comitted to it. His school has several instructors who work with the kids and there is usually only two different levels of belts working together with an instructor. Occationally there may be three but the class size is usually about three or four students per instructor and their belt levels are all right next to each others, so you don't have a beginner with a more advanced belt ect.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

I'm sorry I can't suggest a good one as I am no where near you but my mother is good friends with an award/trophy winning karate instructor and if you don't get what you need I can call her to ask him what to look for in a good dojo.
