Have you ever kept your kids home from school because you were too sick to take them. Even though you really needed time to feel better and not have to deal with them? Sorry did that last part sound rude? Just wondering. Thank you in advance for your input. {:+)

Oh my goodness, if I had the option of sending my son to school (which for him, is daycare) when I'm sick, I would take it, even if I felt like death while bringing him there. Unfortunately, his daycare is a 45 minute drive away, so it's not worth it. And let me tell you, being home sick and miserable with a busy toddler running around? NOT fun.

Thank you ladies. I was wondering. Last year they missed a couple of days here and there. But this year I car pool with my neighbor so it works out grate. I take them M/W/F so if I need him to do it once in a while is fine with that. My husband had to come home from work a couple of times because I could drive, and this again was last year. Car pooling is GREAT. Thank you for your response. {:+)

Oh yes. I can usually find a ride for her when I'm too sick to take my daughter to school, but there have been a couple days this school year that I couldn't find her a ride and was not capable of walking her to school.

No way, they go to school especially if I'm sick! Even when my boys are older, they will go to school. My neighbor keeps her kids home for any old reason and I believe that teaches a child that school isn't important. Her reasoning for keeping them home was because "it's only primary school", implying that primary school isn't important, yet when they reached high school age they were expected to buckle down and be more adult.

Nope I would recruit a driver to get them there or suffer the short ride to return to peace and quiet without them!
